Hi! I’m Marian. I love a checklist, the color pink, and any opportunity to serve up a cup of tea with some candid conversation. Controlled chaos is my thing. If we’re friends, I think you are drop dead gorgeous.

Currently, I am the voice of charming Poppy the Panda in the TV show JILLIAN’S MYSTERY CRAFT BOX, starring YouTube sensation JillianTubeHD and produced by Emmy-nominated pocket.watch studios. I am also voicing promos for the RYAN AND FRIENDS network, the exclusive linear streaming channel of preteen superstar Ryan Kaji of Ryan's World. I am the voice of Feeding San Diego and my latest campaign brought in $30,000 a day to people in need in San Diego county due to the COVID-19 crisis.

 

You can catch me on Amazon Video in the indie suspense-thriller THE DAUGHTER (distributed worldwide and also available on iTunes, VUDU, and Google Play.) Nick Nicholson of CNN says about me: “Sorensen packs a punch often unseen with independent film. Her performance is gritty, heart-felt and pops off the screen.” I was super proud to win the CRITIC’S CHOICE AWARD for BEST ACTRESS at Houston’s Worldfest International Film Festival for that movie.

 

I starred in the comedic short SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS which earned BEST COMEDY at the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival (CA), BEST COMEDY SHORT at the Rincón International Film Festival (Puerto Rico), and BEST ENSEMBLE at the Idyllwild International Film Festival.

I’m an alumna of USC where I studied theater. I’m originally from Northern California. I live in Los Angeles with my husband and my daughter.
